After graduating in Literature, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she lived for over thirty years.
In 2002, she was a finalist for the Italo Calvino Prize with the novel Thomas Jay, which was later published by Fazi in 2012.
She currently lives in Rome and collaborates with La Ragione, Il Foglio, and Linkiesta. She is also one of the founders and editors of the online magazine inOltre.
