Nunzia Scalzo

Nunzia Scalzo is a forensic graphologist and journalist. Born by chance in Germany to Sicilian parents, she returned to Sicily after her early years, where she lives and works. She graduated in Philosophy from the University of Catania, then specialized in Philosophy of Language. Her first great passion is journalism and writing: she is the editorial director of the regional weekly magazine “I Vespri” and a contributor to the cultural pages of the Palermo edition of the daily newspaper “la Repubblica.” At the same time, she developed another great passion, forensic graphology: she has been registered with the Court of Catania since 2003 and has worked on thousands of cases.

La regola dell’ortica (Feltrinelli, 2025) is her first novel.

The Nettle Rule
